We would first like to congratulate Naser Faruqui for his his appointment as the new Director of the Innovation, Policy and Science Program Area at
IDRC and we thank him for his devotion and guidance to the team over the past few years. We wish him success in his new assignment and he will be missed by the team.
Secondly, it is with great pleasure that we announce the selection of Mark Redwood as the new Program Leader for the Urban Poverty and Environment (
UPE) Program Initiative. These staff changes will not affect any of the projects with which
UPE is involved with and the team is looking forward to continued collaboration with our partners.
