Le bureau régional du CRDI à Singapour, qui dessert l’Asie du Sud-Est et de l’Est, a été créé en 1971. Ce bureau est la plaque tournante des activités du Centre dans 12 pays. En 30 ans, le CRDI a subventionné plus de 2 000 projets de recherche exécutés et administrés par des chercheurs et des établissements de la région.
