Abstract
Results of studies on resource allocation in agricultural research in Asia, Africa and Latin America have shown that often resources are poorly and unevenly distributed. In Cameroon, where the growth rate in the agricultural sector is the highest in Africa (3.8 percent per year), a greater number of resources will have to be put towards agricultural research. This project will authorize a short study of all human and financial resources currently used for agricultural research in Cameroon. The results of the study will be called to the attention of Cameroon government officials and policymakers at a seminar, once the research is completed.
