Abstract
The aim of this RSA is to retain the services of a consultant to assist teams in Burkina Faso and Niger in formulating funding requests for their National Action Program (NAP), as provided for in the Convention to Combat Desertification.
All Sahelian countries that are members of the Interstate Committee against Drought in Sahel (CILSS) will need to formulate requests to sponsors for the financial backing they need to develop their National Action Program. The requirements of the Convention and the fact that the various projects and programs overlap make it difficult for the countries involved to draw up their requests properly.
