Résumé

This grant will allow a consultant, Rukanda C. Melania, to review all the curriculum documents at the secondary school level from each of the participating countries (Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe) with respect to subject areas and gender. Ms Melania will consult with local subject-specific experts in order to determine similarities and differences in the curricula of the various countries, and compile these in a report. She will then recommend subject areas that should be targeted in a collaborative project, funded by IDRC and the Commonwealth of Learning, to develop and validate secondary school education in the region.
