After eight years of active participation Colonel Papa Mohamadou Mbareck Diop of Senegal, and Professors Clement Dzidonu of Ghana and Pascal Valentin Houénou of Côte d’Ivoire have concluded their appointments as Regional Advisors for IDRC WARO since the beginning of this year.
A reception has been held in their honor on February 6th, to celebrate their extensive contribution to Centre.
Created in 2001, The Council of Regional Advisors for West and Central Africa’role is to help the Centre better target the needs of the region according to the guidelines of its Corporate Strategy and Program Framework.
With a selection of 8 to 10 renowned experts from the region, the Council is now honoured to welcome a new member from Ghana, Dr. Takyiwaa Manuh who is a professor at University of Ghana. Dr Manuh was the Director of the Institute for African Studies until last year.
