The Africa Family of the COPEH |
First African Meeting of Researchers and Actors in Ecohealth Approaches is taking place in Cotonou March 1-3, 2010. The core theme is: “Environment, Human Health and Climatic Changes: Mobilization of Training and Research Institutions operating in Ecohealth Approaches”The meeting was jointly opened by the representatives of three ministries involved – Higher Education and Scientific Research, Environment and Nature Conservation, and Health – which is not usual in Africa. This was a way to emphasize on the need to develop dialogue and cross-sectoral collaboration between ministries. This meeting is organized by the Community of Practice in Ecohealth / West and Central Africa (COPEH-WCA). Learn more on the Conference website
