Right: Painting titled "The Govi Evening"

Are you fascinated by the mysterious wonders of the Gobi Desert but it is too far away to visit ? You may now take a virtual tour of an art gallery exhibiting paintings of the famous Gobi Desert and other Mongolian scenes without leaving your computer screen.
Mongolian artist, Ms Sodnomyn Togs-Oyun, has recently set up a virtual art gallery on the Arts & Crafts section of the PAN E-commerce Mall, showing 33 oil paintings on canvas. View Mongolian Queens in full traditional costume, famous legendary folklore and beautiful, quiet sunsets by the Gobi mountains in their full glory. If any of them catches your fancy, you can place an order immediately on the E-Mall. Ms Togs-Oyun has won several awards in Mongolia for her work, one of which the Award of the Mongolian Youth Federation in 1989. She has also held solo and international exhibitions in Mongolia, Moscow, London, Japan, Yugoslavia and her latest exhibition was held this year in New York.

The Mongolian Art Gallery is managed by Infocon (ICT Consulting) Company, Ulaan Bataar, a company with more than ten years' experience in ICT consulting for Mongolia. It works with national and international, governmental and non-governmental organisations, as well as private businesses and individuals on ICT development. Infocon is committed to promoting the use of ICTs as a powerful development tool for Mongolia and the Mongolians. By participating on PAN's E-Mall, it allows Mongolian artists to showcase their art to the world and to generate income from the sale of such art works.
