| PAN - Multimedia PanAsia 'Mother' Website |
IDRC's PanAsia initiative aims to help Asian researchers gain speedy and more efficient access to the vast textual and multimedia information resources available on the Internet. This IDRC-administered project is partially supported by a grant from the Singapore Government under its S-ONE programme. The project will provide multimedia exposure for the research and development outputs, products and services of PanAsia's partners on the broad bandwidth network provided through S-ONE's asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) network infrastructure, as well as on the Internet. This development is to keep the PanAsia 'Mother' Website on the cutting edge of Internet technology and to enhance its potential for generating income.
