Pan Asia Networking (PAN) works with researchers from within civil society and academia, as well as the public and private sectors to facilitate ICT for Development (ICT4D) research. Emphasis is placed on applied research related to community uses of ICTs - particularly those practices that lead to more equitable access, collaborative networking, local application development, and a better understanding of the socio-economic effects of ICTs.

PAN provides support through:

• Research projects, which address PAN's focus areas of research - application guidelines;
• Grants program -  Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF) and Strengthening ICTD Research Capacity in Asia (SIRCA);
• Joint projects with external donor agencies;
• Internship and fellowship programs - guidelines on how to apply - additional information and applications guidelines;
