Abstract
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) will hold a Regional Training Workshop on Policy Issues in Water Demand Management and their Implementation in Beirut, Lebanon, 8-19 May 2000. Given the importance of the topic to IDRC's People, Land and Water (PLAW) program initiative, and the fact that no one from the PLAW team is available able to attend, this grant will allow a highly recommended graduate student from the University of Toronto to take part in the workshop and prepare a report for PLAW on its success and potential application to other audiences and in other venues.
