Abstract
The aim of this activity is to organize working and information meetings for planning an upstream, community-based, capacity-building program within the context of Burkina Faso's action plan for integrated water resource management (PAGIRE, Plan d'action pour la gestion intégrée des ressources en eau). The program will draw on the accomplishments of the five-year project entitled "Management of Competing Water Uses in the Nakanbé Basin (Burkino Faso)," funded under projects 004391/98-1057 and 100844.
