Abstract
The Southern African Universities Social Science Conference (SAUSSC) is an organization established for academic research and dissemination of information within the Southern African region. SAUSSC organizes biannual conferences to discuss topical issues of importance to the region. The 22nd Biannual Conference, entitled "Debt Relief Initiatives and Poverty Alleviation: Lessons from Sub-Saharan Africa," will be held in Namibia, 28 November to 1 December 2001.This grant will allow seven participants from Southern Africa to participate in the conference.
