News 6 of 7
When : 2002-03-05 14:00 Where : 14th floor Auditorium - IDRC, 250 Albert Street, Ottawa
Monique Simard, a partner in Les Productions Virage, will introduce the film A score for women's voices.
Produced by Sophie Bissonnette, this documentary shows how in the year 2000, for the first time in human history, women all over the world took to the streets to take part in the World March of Women against Violence and Poverty. Inspired and borne along by this extraordinary movement, dazzling in its diversity, A score for women's voices shows in just 86 minutes the universal determination of women on every continent to change the world, and the imagination they bring to the cause. This film was coproduced by Les Productions Virage and the National Film Board (NFB).
