Competition policy is about reforming the way economies work to improve the lives of ordinary people.
 
Extensive research has allowed for concrete recommendations to encourage market competition. These include methods to overcome barriers of policy implementation, engage with stakeholders, and deal with anti-competitive conduct.
 
In an increasingly interdependent world, researchers also recommend countries adopt consistent laws and standards in order to fully realize the benefits of market competition.
