This FAO press release focuses on the book Indigenous People's Food Systems, published by FAO and McGill University's Centre for Indigenous People's Nutrition and Environment (CINE). IDRC's old Sustainable Use of Biodiversity Program Initiative and later the Ecosystem Approaches to Human Health Program Initiative provided funding for some of the research projects included in this volume.
