The International Development Research Centre (IDRC), through its CEA (Connectivity and Equity in the Americas) and ICA (Institute for Connectivity in the Americas) initiatives held the 2008 CEA/ICA All-Partners’ Meeting on November 26-28, 2008 in Montevideo, Uruguay. The meeting gathered the Project Leaders of initiatives supported by CEA/ICA and specialists in the ICT for Development (ICT4D) field. The event constituted a unique opportunity to share knowledge and practical experiences among a broad range of experts from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The main objective of the meeting was to consult with partners on their vision and advice on priorities for moving into the next five years of ICT4D programming in LAC. As part of the preparatory process for the meeting, project partners completed an anonymous online survey designed to gather input on the main challenges faced during the project cycle, and to better understand the working relationship with IDRC. Survey results were used to identify key issues that will be addressed during the meeting. Please see below for a link to the survey results.
