Water Demand Management Policy now a national policy in Jordan approved by the Prime Minister

Recently, the government of Jordan adopted the water demand management policy. It is the first of its kind and the most progressive in the region.
Eng. Rania Abdel Khaleq from the water demand management unit of the Ministry of Water and Irrigation says “I see personally that IDRC deserves also some credit for this achievement, I think IDRC and WaDImena contributed in spreading the concept of WDM in the region and in Jordan in particular”.
