In Tunisia, water conservation is not a fad, it’s a necessity.

The country already recuperates more than 85% of its groundwater, and water conservation is rooted in tradition. However, explains Amel Triki Mzah, vice-president to the mayor of the municipality of Soukra, and the intermediary between the local government and the Focus Cities project team, those customs are being lost.
