You are cordially invited by the Pan American Health Organization and the Canadian Society for International Health to a Breakfast Forum to mark World AIDS Day, Friday December 1, 2000, 7:45 - 9:30 a.m. at the National Press Club, 150 Wellington Street, 2nd Floor (just east of Bank Street), Ottawa.

* Dr Mark Wainberg, Professor, McGill University; Director, McGill University AIDS Centre; immediate past-president, International AIDS Society; scientist in HIV/AIDS research, internationally renowned for his initial identification of 3TC as an anti-viral drug;

* Emanuel Mendonca, Chairperson, Cry of AIDS Project, Guyana; coordinator, HIV/AIDS Program, United Caribbean AIDS-Education Network; project coordinator/trainer, the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention, Toronto;

* Dr Peter Dzvimbo, Vice-Chancellor, Zimbabwe Open University;

* Marc-Andre LeBlanc, responsible for the international portfolio, Canadian AIDS Society (Belarus project);

* Reeta Bhatia, Senior HIV/AIDS Advisor on International Issues; and
