Translation service will be provided. About the Speaker: Carlos Alberto Montaner is a novelist, essayist, and journalist. He has been a press correspondent in Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. He is the author of over fifteen books of essays and novels including: Secret Report on the Cuban Revolution; Cuba, Castro and the Caribbean; and Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution. His syndicated column is published in dozens of Spanish and Latin American newspapers. He is a Vice President of Liberal International and the founder and Chairman of the Unión Liberal Cubana. Mr. Montaner was born in Cuba in 1943, and has lived in Madrid, Spain since 1970. Pre-registration for this event is required.
