Environmental Management Development in Ukraine (EMDU) End-of-Project Conference

In order to kick off new environmental programmes in the region, Ukraine will host a conference from October 23-25, 2000, entitled State of Environmental Management of the Dnieper'. The conference will include discussions among international and regional experts on past efforts at rehabilitating the Dnieper River, with a view to defining its present state and launching new environmental endeavours.
